Painting with Kids: Rocks Like Easter Eggs

Painting stones with kids — stones shaped like Easter eggs

Easy Finger Painting

Painting is a very fun activity that even younger kids can really enjoy. We won't worry them with how to hold a brush correctly. Instead, we'll let them use what they should be developing most at this age: fine motor skills and finger movements. That's exactly what Mucki finger paints are made for, and kids can use them to paint stones. Let them come up with their own motifs, or help them by creating a pattern or adding details.

If there's one thing kids are sure to love, it's creating new shades. With Nassau gouache paints, this kind of creative activity will be unforgettable fun. If you have a skillful child at home, they'll be ready to use these paints at just four years old. They can try creating patterns on Easter eggs with various brushes. And if an accident happens, the paints are easy to wash out of clothing.

You can have just as much fun painting with kids using Jovi tempera paints. One advantage of these paints is the large pack, so you and the kids can enjoy lots of lovely projects together.

Easter crafting with natural paints sounds wonderful. Take it a step further with natural brushes from Kreul Nature, also available from us. Choose between natural and synthetic bristles. Both brush handles are made from birch wood. Synthetic bristles are soft and elastic, making them suitable for applying paint gently, while natural bristles are stiffer and make it easy to create texture.

Easter stones are an unusual alternative to eggs. One advantage is that you can use them indoors without worry (just remember to seal the paint). What’s more, they’re a great way to keep kids happily occupied and create original Easter decorations. Share your Easter stones with us on social media and tag us. We’d love to see your creations.

Have fun!
