Make Your Own: Easter Eggs Decorated with Dried Flowers
It’s up to you what kind of eggs you choose for this decoration. We chose white eggs, which are easy to work with and won’t break if they accidentally fall on the floor.
Tip: Since we’ll be applying layers of glue to the surface of the egg, you can make it easier to hold by attaching a wooden stick to hold the Easter egg.

First, apply decoupage glue to the surface of the egg. You can wait for it to dry a little, or apply a dried flower right away.

You’ll find many types and varieties of pressed flowers to decorate the egg with. It’s up to you whether you create decorations in a single color tone or combine different flowers on one egg. We’ll leave that to you and your creativity.

Place a pressed plant on the glue, then coat it with more glue. Once it’s dry, you can coat the entire surface of the egg with decoupage glue again, and your original decoration is ready!

You can place your decorated Easter eggs in a basket, on a table, or use them as part of a wreath or other decoration.
Tip: Along with white eggs, try black eggs, which make the pressed flowers look especially striking.

Decorating Easter eggs is a tradition that has been kept alive here since the 7th century. While our ancestors decorated them with wax or natural materials, modern times bring new ways for us to experiment. Whether you decorate natural or artificial eggs, with wax or using a modern technique, what matters is that you keep traditions alive and develop your creativity.
See you at the next creative project!
